Privacy Policy

Effective: April 22, 2026

1. Overview

The Buzz Marketing Co (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates thebuzzmarketingco.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide: name, email, phone number, business details, and message content you submit via our discovery form, free analysis form, or newsletter signup.
  • Automatically collected: device type, browser, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (city level), and interaction events.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored on your device to remember preferences and measure performance.

3. Tracking Technologies We Use

We use the following third-party technologies on this Site:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): aggregate traffic and behavior analytics. GA4 is loaded with Google Consent Mode v2 set to denied by default — it only sends cookieless pings until you accept via our cookie banner. When you accept, GA4 sets cookies and processes pseudonymous identifiers to measure pageviews and events.
  • Microsoft Clarity: session recordings and heatmaps that help us understand how visitors interact with the Site. Clarity is only loaded after you accept non-essential cookies. It captures mouse movement, clicks, scrolls, and anonymized interactions — never passwords, credit card numbers, or other sensitive form fields.
  • PearlDiver / Click Track visitor identification: resolves a portion of anonymous site visitors to business contact data for marketing follow-up. Only loaded after you accept non-essential cookies. You can request removal at any time (see Section 8).
  • First-party attribution capture:we store a small JSON record in your browser's local storage (buzz_attribution_v1) that classifies where you came from (e.g., Direct, Paid Social, Organic Search) so we can attribute form submissions to marketing channels. This is a first-party essential function and is always active.
  • Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, and similar advertising tags: used only when active advertising campaigns are running. Gated behind cookie consent when enabled.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this Site — the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit. When you Reject, we store no Clarity or PearlDiver data and GA4 remains in cookieless mode.
